That’s Me :)

Hello!
That’s Me – Kalindi! πŸ™‚

I created this blog back in 2012, when I was still in college, as a medium to express myself. As you would notice (if you scroll down the archives back in time to a decade ago), this website has evolved considerably over time in terms of not just the content, but also the frequency at which it is published (frequency – not for the better!). However, one thing that does remain unchanged, is the fact that my blog is still a medium of the most honest self-expression.

I have graduated over time, from random ramblings to poetry to travel documentation and the journey thus far has been one of immense learning and discovery. When I read through some of my posts from a decade ago, I find it hard to believe that I have written all of it myself! I marvel at how I religiously took time out to write and how so much of it has been read and appreciated by people known and unknown.

As I sit and update this section in the first month of 2022, my only hope is to continue using this blog to express myself. Over the last few years, I have spent quite some time in exploring our country and the world through travel, and have come to discern that I truly enjoy every bit of it! When I write about my travels, I truly intend to share with you how that place made me feel in the most honest way possible. I try and give as much detail as possible about the journey, because what is a beautiful experience, if it is not shared with others? πŸ™‚ I also often pen down my thoughts in the form of poetry and have secretly (not so secretly now, I realise) promised myself to write more of these. Therefore, the updated blog name – Postcards and poems. πŸ™‚

I think that’s enough of a description of myself and the blog – you will certainly get to know me better if you read through my work.

Cheers, until then. Happy reading!
